Students from sixth hour percussion travelled to Ohio from April 14-18 to compete against students from all over the world.
The Aztecs flew out the morning of April 14 and arrived in Ohio later that day and settled down before performing the next day. The students performed for the judges and then were able to watch other students’ performances while waiting to know how they did.
In all they ended up doing very well.
“We placed fifth overall in the world so we did great,” junior Zach Kime said.
Outside performing, students enjoyed watching other student’s shows as well as just having fun with their friends.
“Watching the other students’ shows was pretty cool because we could see what they were capable of,” junior Jake Langley said.
