On April 22, over 20 students will be on a four-day scuba trip to the Santa Catalina Island aboard the Horizon boat. It will involve the students of Mike Trimble’s Advanced Biology class.

Students were required to be “scuba-certified” before the trip. If students were not certified, and had no gear at all, the trip could charge easily over 2,000 dollars, 900 of which was tax credit.

There will be many dives through out the trip, and even a few night dives. Many of the divers are getting college credit by doing this once in a lifetime experience.
