CdS Sunrise hosts rap contest

The Sunrise held its first rap contest ever. The rules were 1) Keep it clean (no bad words.) 2)It must be about/have something to do with Corona. 3) Be creative! After reviewing the entrees, the winner is senior Tyler Harris. His rap is below.
Started off as a freshman now it’s almost graduation
In the past four years we’ve done so much it’s amazin’
From being banned from Marcos to all the bomb threats
To the Corona Crazies and all that non-sense
Causing the staff a lot of stress and pain
But without our class the school wouldn’t be the same
We’ve come all this way and we can go so far
Don’t settle for the moon we gotta reach for the stars
Wrestling and boys soccer state champions
Nobody on top of us cause we’re number one
Congratulations to all the super seniors
It’s time to go forward can’t move in reverse
So long Corona because now we’re departin’
High school’s almost over but our lives are just startin’
Grown up and now we’ve become women and men
So everybody give it up for the class of 2010.
