A flash of a poster, a quick preview all leads to the same place; a movie theater. Movies these days are very popular, and the gross of popular titles have grossed to unbelievable amounts. One thing that has changed is the ratings of those movies.

If you may not know the rating system, it is rated from 1 star to 5. There are a lot of critics that go to each movie to rate and publish their views/opinions of the title. Popular critics such as: Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, and a few newspapers produce reviews daily.

When it comes down to going to view a movie, here are a few things that you should have in mind: Do the previews interest you? How is it doing in the box office? How have your friends rated it? Although the movie may be great, the critic may not have rated high. So, who is more accurate, moviegoers or critics?

To a moviegoer, a critic may be just a person that has to look down on the title, or reflect what the movie really isn’t. To a critic, a moviegoer may not know what the flaws of a movie are, or what simple mistake an actor may have made. So, who wins the opinion of the public? Moviegoers or critics?
