The newest production from the theatre department, Figments, will take place on Friday and Saturday evening.
“It’s both witty and funny. The characters are over the top,” said director Nick Taylor.
Some of the students who star in the play include Rafiel Rosales, Lianna St. Amand and Chris Conger.
The play is about a playwriter who is suffering from writers block in the city of New York. As if that isn’t bad enough, his love life is horrible thanks to his overbearing mom. The title comes from the figments of his imagination, where he experiences things that only he can see and hear.
Admission is $5. Dollar off coupons are available and have been distributed to many teachers around campus. Grab a couple so you can bring your friends!
The play starts at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and will run until about 8:30 pm. Get there early to snag a good seat.
“It’s a highly anticipated performance that will “make you laugh until you wet yourself,” Taylor said.
