Do you really think your administration or the district leaders chose these ridiculous class sizes purposely? Your school's funding comes from the state, and our current legislators appear hellbent to balance the state's budget woes on the backs of public schools. I agree that our students and teachers deserve better, but the only way to make things change is to change them at the top.

I sure hope students consider this when they speak to their parents about politics and when they become old enough to vote themselves. Make no mistake, Republicans in our state don't give a crap about the quality of our public schools or its students. If you wants things to be better, we must vote them out of office!

Thank you for the great article on the wrestling team. The part you left out was that the match was decided in the last match of the heavy weights. Who ever won that match would win for their team. Corona won by 1 point. It was a spectacular come back. The Wrestling team also took first at the moon valley tournament beating out Desert Vista who took second. The team took fourth at the Flowing Wells tounament and is now on their way to the State Championships in Prescott.

It appears that once again the Wrestling Team will represent the Corona Del Sol Aztecs as First Class Champions!

Way to go Wrestling!!

I couldn't agree more with dthom... Sons of Sylvia ARE the next great American band in my book and I simply LOVE their new album! Each song has it's own feel, and their unique genre blending is a refreshing spin on all the other REPETETIVE crap that's out there today. Sons of Sylvia's extreme talent comes across in each song and their passion fills my soul. I have been listening to REVELATION every day since the day it came out and have not become bored with it in the slightest. Any true music lover would appreciate this album and this band. The boys are back in the studio this week and I, for one.. CAN'T WAIT to hear what they've been working on!

Wow, Jacob..that was a bizarre review. You're entitled to your own musical tastes - but to say this album is repetetive is ridiculous. This album is unique (pop/rock with a variety of non-typical pop/rock instruments like dobro, fiddle, mandolin). It has a variety of sounds - from country/rock in the song John Wayne, to high-energy rock in 50 Ways. There are a few slow ballads and a couple of power, arena-rock ballads. The lyrics are good. The song, Revelation, is a biographical story of the lead singer's life....nothing repetetive about it.
This is a GREAT ALBUM - one of the best of 2010. Immensely talented guys -- amazing musicians and a lead singer has incredible range. I can't wait for more from Sons of Sylvia.

I would love to see something sent out about our fantastic swim and dive team. City Meet is Oct. 28th. Tomorrow is the last chance meet. It seems like they are always forgotten! The Corona newsletter did not mention them and Sunrise does not list them with the other sports team, why is that?? Let's not forget the swimmers and divers! They work hard in the hot sun!

Other than that, I love getting the Sunrise emails and see the paper on line.
